Fawna and the Silk Road Society (Freer Sackler Gallery) are putting on an Artist’s Talk and a tiny exhibition of Fawna’s newest works and works in progress (including tiny 4 x 6 landscapes). Fawna will be talking about how she began printmaking (hint: involves a casino) and how she’s progressed to her current inspiration and process. This will take place at Fawna’s studio (at Open Studio DC off of H St NE) and is a great chance to peek inside a working printshop.

Thanks to all that came out last Friday night for ArtFair! It was a grand success and it was lovely to meet all of you and especially nice to meet some other DC artists-- funny how we all hole up in our studios and then finally come out into civilization for these little things.
